The newly created website, whose goal is to make Csongrád County attractive for investors, was presented by the County Government of Csongrád to Italian, Irish, Spanish and Slovenian experts. The investment incentive activity funded by the Regional Development Operational Programme (RDOP) is well suited to the work in the TRINNO project as the ultimate goal of the latter is a proposal to the enterprise development focus of the RDOP.
The international experts have highlighted that www.investincsongradcounty.hu both follows the latest international trends in IT solutions as well as in the form of content elements, creating a realistic opportunity to attract investor interest. The most important curiosity of the website is the own-developed web-based GIS system that systematizes, structuredly handles and actualizes data received from the settlements of the county. It also provides access to free real estate properties for investment purposes and displays them on a map. In addition, the system provides the opportunity to view cadastral maps in the entire territory of Csongrád County, as well as the ability to display indicators of investment importance in the database as a thematic map.
The website and the investment promotion and economic development strategy seek to find the optimum balance of the county's traditions and innovation. With its feedbacks, the international consortium of TRINNO (TRadition and INNOvation) project helps the experts of the two project partners from Csongrád county, ELI-HU and the County Government of Csongrád.
In the next phase of the TRINNO project, partners will be able to invite local or national, particularly innovation-related organizations, to study foreign good practices to be adapted in their own regions. To this end, the County Government of Csongrád and ELI-HU will continue to invite organizations that can provide valuable professional experience or suggestions for the project and the local stakeholder group. These meetings will take place between July and September 2018 and will provide a great opportunity to reach the ultimate goal of the project, aimed primarily at local business ecosystem development, investment promotion and further digitalization in Csongrád County.
The 5-year project (between April 2016 and March 2021) is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, implemented within the INTERREG Europe programme.
